Junior Membership Requirements

Junior Memberships
Are honorary and are issued to encourage interest in Mayflower history among individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

Junior members must be related to a present member in good standing of any nationally recognized STATE Society*; a blood relative through the line which the member/sponsor was proved by the Society.

Acceptable documentation (vital records proving lineage relationship to sponsor) are required with Junior Member application.

Issuance of a Junior Membership does NOT approve membership in the Tennessee Society of Mayflower Descendants or the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.

Upon attaining the age of eighteen (18), Junior Membership ceases, and the individual may make formal application for full membership in the TN Society of Mayflower Descendants to the Tennessee State Historian.

A completed application and documentation is required for all applicants to the Tennessee Society of Mayflower Descendants and the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.  The current (Spring 2023) application fee is $25.00.
